About

About Water Hygiene Services

We are a leading independent provider of specialist services relating to monitoring the safety of water systems and in particular the risk from exposure to Legionella bacteria.

Monitoring the Safety of Water Systems

We work with various organisations assisting them in the prevention, control and compliance of the risks associated with Legionella bacteria in line with the Governments Health and Safety Executive Approved Code of Practice (HSE ACOP L8).

Legionella Control Association

We are a member of the Legionella Control Association (LCA), therefore you can be assured of our quality of service. Our membership of the LCA, our internal management systems, and our compliance with the LCA Code of Conduct and Service Standards means that we are able to advise and guide our clients in controlling the legionella risk associated with their water systems.

Public and Private Sector Water Monitoring

We have a strong background in the public and private sectors working with a number of different institutions such as care homes, colleges, schools, councils, property management companies, housing associations, retail chains, NHS trusts and facilities management companies.

Approved CHAS member

We are an approved member of CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme). This means that all of our work is certified to the CHAS standards, and with this association, we can guarantee our professional approach to every single job we undertake.

Chas has 900 public and private sector client organisations and 70,000 contractors registered on the CHAS database, which means approved organisations can all work cohesively to ensure work carried out is done to an industry standard.
