What is an RPZ Valve? An RPZ valve is simply a backflow device and RPZ stands for Reduced Pressure Zone. An RPZ device is usually installed onto plumbing systems to protect the water we drink and keep it clear of contaminants and pollution. Do I need to have my systems RPZ tested? The answer is yes. It is a legal requirement to have devices checked on a regular basis, at a minimum this should be yearly, to ensure they provide the backflow protection required. There are various methods which can be used to test RPZ valves and our dedicated team are fully qualified in all approaches, in addition to identifying any corrective maintenance which might be required.
