Water Hygiene Services is an independent provider of Legionella control and water hygiene services. We work for estates managers, facilities managers and building and property managers across Yorkshire and roughly 100 miles from Leeds along the M62 corridor.
Who are we?
Our director, Ben Baldwin, has more than 23 years' experience in the water hygiene industry. We help organisations prevent and control the risk from Legionella bacteria, following HSG274, supporting ACoP L8.
Why are we a Legionella Control Association member?
The LCA sets a Code of Conduct and Service Standards for Legionella control companies. As a member we work to those standards, and use them to advise and guide clients in controlling the risk in their water systems. You can download a copy of our LCA certificate.
What does CHAS approval mean?
We are an approved member of CHAS, the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme. Our health and safety arrangements are assessed to CHAS standards, and our status is on the CHAS database, so any organisation can check it.
